While I do appreciate a good iPhone case just like the next person (remember that crazy Griffin Motif case that helped an iPhone 4 survive a 1,000 foot fall?) I honestly can’t understand why people who purchase über-expensive cases for iPhones, knowing full well that if there is a model change, it won’t fit the new one. Ah well, I guess some people have money to burn.
This fancy schmancy iPhone case will probably end up costing you a few thousand dollars, so quite a few times more expensive than the iPhone 4 itself. It features a De Bethune pocket watch in its leather back that has a schmancy DB 1024 movement. Seems a bit odd since you can just look at your iPhone to check out the time, but what do I know?
If you drop iPhone in this case, chances are that it won’t survive a 1,000 foot drop. On top of that, your fancy watch will probably break too.
