Lenovo SoundCube Headphone Concept Breaks the Rules

 |  |  |  December 11, 2018

Everyone makes headphones that look almost exactly like everyone else’s. You’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. Why doesn’t anyone think outside of the box? Well, as it turns out someone actually does. Eric Guackā€™s Lenovo SoundCube concept headphones come with a cool hexagonal design.

Even the cups are hexagons. This makes them stand out from the crowd. While all of the others have a circular or elliptical headphone design, this pair of headphones is a work of art. Aside from the design, the features are pretty basic. They have an on-off switch, and work both wirelessly or with an aux-cable. They charge using contact-pins at the base, so there are no ugly USB ports.

And of course, they’re supposed to offer great sound quality. Good looks and good audio, that’s all we want from headphones after all. They look great in all three concept colors – black, grey, or orange.

It may just be a concept for now, but these would sell like crazy if they put these into production and they weren’t too crazy expensive. I know I would buy a pair. I hope they become a reality someday soon so I can buy them.
