During CES, we talked a bit about LG’s new Laser TV, a new short-throw projector combined with a 100-inch screen. Despite the fact that it’s a projection system, it was still incredibly cool that it can project such a large and bright image from only 22-inches away from the scren.

There’ve been some very cool PC games of launched over the last several months. One of the games that is the most demanding of computer hardware is the recently released Crysis 3. If you want to play that game with all the visual bells and whistles turned on, you need a seriously powerful computer.

When I saw Samsung’s easel-like TV I thought that that was the weirdest you could make a TV while still making it classy. Apparently not. Philips’ new DesignLine TVs have a glass front that is seamless, frameless and a has a black gradient design.

Amazon has announced a couple of important details for fans of its Kindle Fire HD 8.9-inch tablet. While the tablet has finally launched in Europe and Japan, buyers in the US can now purchase the tablet at a lower price.

Before flat screen TVs became so affordable, I used to be a big front-screen projection user. While most of us are more than satisfied with our LCD and Plasma displays these days, you still can’t do any better than a front projector if you want a screen bigger than about 80 inches – unless you’re the ruler of a small nation.

Gamers familiar with the Ultima video game series have likely heard of its award-winning designer and creator, Richard “Lord British” Garriott. Garriott has launched his latest project, a new fantasy role-playing game called Shroud of the Avatar, and is seeking to fund development via Kickstarter.

EA has announced that it will be offering a downloadable co-op demo for its videogame Army of Two The Devil’s Cartel. The game demo will be available to download for Xbox 360 and PS3 gamers on March 12, 2013.

While the Wii and Wii U are all about funky modern controllers, sometimes you just can’t beat a good old school gamepad or joystick to get your Virtual Console on. This third-party controller for Nintendo’s current-gen consoles looks like it fills the bill perfectly.

The final downloadable content pack for incredibly popular video game Mass Effect 3 will be coming next month. This will be the last new content in the Mass Effect franchise and aims to allow fans to say goodbye to Commander Shepard and his team once and for all.

Of all the games are launching early in 2013, BioShock Infinite is certainly one of the most anticipated. The game will see players exploring the floating city of Columbia and fighting against baddies as they strive to rescue the mysterious time-and-space-tearing Elizabeth.

Earlier tonight, Sony strutted its stuff with the new PS4 – albeit without actually showing the console – along with a number of new games headed to the next-gen console. Sony has now posted high-def announcement trailers for five of the titles shown tonight, and I’ve compiled them for you guys here.

After months of anticipation, Sony today announced their next-generation PlayStation console, the PS4. Despite showing off the controller (which we’ve already seen,) Sony continues to be evasive about showing off the console itself, or discussing pricing.

Monday, February 25 is the day that Halo 4 gamers will be able to download the latest map pack for the video game. The new map pack is called Majestic and includes three maps and a new type of game play.

An image has surfaced showing off what appears to be a prototype controller for the upcoming PlayStation 4 (aka “PlayStation Orbis) console. The photo shows a controller that looks largely like a Dual-Shock, but with the addition of a smooth area in the middle that could be a touchscreen of some sort.
