When I recently received a mini Google Fridge for my office at work (my company spends a lot of money on AdWords,) I thought for sure I had the coolest geek refrigeration device on the block.

A team of industrial designers have come up with a truly unique concept in home appliances for the Electrolux Design Lab competition, the modular refrigerator. The NFridge reimagines the design of typical refrigerators by splitting the fridge into small, stackable compartments.

This nifty add-on for the Xbox 360 combines additional cooling like Nyko’s Intercooler, but also adds some other nice bells and whistles to the back of the console. The Gamexpert Cooler King adds direct-connect video outputs to the back of your Xbox 360, including VGA, component, S-video and composite, as well a digital optical output for surround sound.

Artists Jonathan den Breejen and Marenka Deenstra developed the interactive artwork, Ping Pong Pixel, a machine which will take in a digital image, then render a huge image using colored ping pong balls. The installation contains a 2-meter by 3-meter display board which is injected with 2700 ping pong balls from a dispensing cabinet which contains tubs of 6 differently colored balls.

I couldn’t make this stuff up. Japanese gadget importer Audiocubes is selling this device which, when connected to your USB port, and placed under your rear end, cools off your seat. The Thanko USB Cool Cushion uses a USB powered fan to suck cool air in and pushes it out through small holes in the cushion and cool off your derriere.
