Lightsaber Nightlights: Sleep With the Force

by Paul Strauss

If you’re trying to set a romantic mood in your bedroom, this is almost certainly not the right way to do it. On the other hand, if you’re a complete Star Wars geek, you’ll have to get your credit card out right now.

These $25 lightsaber nightlights will look great flanking each side of your headboard, and can be set to one of 8 different colors to set the right mood for any battle with the dark side you might have in your dreams. And if you decide you want another to switch sides in the middle of the night, just press the button on the included IR remote, and you can change blade hues from Jedi to Sith while you lie your bed.

Too bad these things won’t start shipping until third-quarter 2010. But if you’ve waited this long for them to make these, I’m sure you can wait a few more months. Head on over to BigBadToyStore and place your pre-order now.
