Yep, they definitely are, and with Star Wars‘ most important maintenance droid at your feet, what could go wrong? These TOMS slippers were handpainted by artist Kara Setkiewicz.
The design of this shoe was done by Dan Hogan and handpainted by Kara. Each shoe is custom-made, so you’ll probably be the only one wearing these around your neighborhood. They look quite amazing and I can already see people virtually lining up to get theirs.
Right now, Kara has already sold several pairs and if you want yours, you’ll have to pay $125(USD) and wait at least 4 weeks. For now, there are only R2-D2 TOMS available, but I wouldn’t be surprised if more Star Wars shoes pop up because of the popularity of this design.
