This trio of pint-sized robots connects to your media player and rocks out to the beat of your favorite tracks. The robotic musical group, known as Bandroid, has a lead guitar player, keyboardist and drummer, which can each wildly gesticulate to the beat.

Just in time for the new Transformers movie to hit screens, Hasbro has released a new series of the classic toys, this time based on today’s most popular high-tech gadgets. The Real Gear Transformers series conceals little toy robots disguised as cell phones, digital cameras, portable video game systems among other things.

While this robot might just be a kids toy, it actually looks pretty cool. The King Titan Robot walks, talks, and has a shiny electroplate chrome finish that makes it really stand out. King Titan measures about 15-inches tall and features removable weapons and armor.

Everyone’s favorite little plumber, Mario has arrived in the real world with a brand new gadget. This time he’s on wheels, and ready to roll. The $50 Giant R/C Mario Kart Racer is a 12″ long radio-controlled vehicle inspired by the Nintendo game of the same name.

Remember the old Whac-a-Mole games from the carnival when you were a kid? Now you can have your own mini-version of the game wherever you go. This pint-sized version of the stress-inducing game comes to us from Japan’s Epoch Games.

This electronic toy out of Japan lets you create your own pixel art animations. The Dot Creator from U-Mate has a small 21 x 21 pixel LCD grid on which you can draw your own animated art and then record frame by frame animations.

These prop guns, designed and hand-built by WETA Workshop master model maker David Tremont feature a unique design sensibility inspired by turn of the century science fiction. Japanese toy and electronics maker TakaraTomy is now offering this set of crazy USB gadgets that will make your desktop look like some sort of top secret military base. Start off with the Big Red Emergency Button (¥3990/$34 USD), which looks pretty ominous, but merely shuts down your Windows PC.

From the company that brought you the original Tamagotchi “virtual pet,” comes a new gadget which takes that basic premise and injects your own personality into the equation. Bandai’s Human Player starts out by asking you fifty personal questions, then creates your own digital Mini-Me based on your personality traits.
