LCD Radar Watch: No Clue How to Read This One

Time for another digital watch that’ll leave you scratching your head when all you really want to know is what time it is. Perhaps the Eleeno Lite Radar Watch was designed as the latest intelligence test for aspiring Mensa Society members.
I’m not even going to bother trying to explain how the watch tells time, since I’m pretty much baffled by the explanatory diagrams. All I can figure out is that the outer rings of LCD segments have something to do with minutes, while the inner rings are related to hours. Beyond that, I’m completely at a loss.
If you’re up to the challenge, the Eleeno Radar Watch is available from Japan’s Sea Hope for ¥6090 (appx. $53 USD). But if you wait long enough, they’re bound to turn up at watch importer TokyoFlash, since they usually stock the same brands.

Apparently the guys over at Gizmodo think that it’s easy to read.
Maybe it’s like those 3D “magic eye” pictures and only some people can see it.
Not that hard to read.. just like an ordinary watch but with modified hour and minute-hands.
It’s weird but it’s not that hard to read : forget the ‘radar’ style and just focus on the bigger border of the ‘Hour hand’ and ‘minutes HAND’
no tracking refresh secondhand? whats that about?
Honestly? You seriously can’t read this watch? I’ve seen worse. All you need to know is how to read a regular analog watch and that the fat section of the “hand” is the pointer. This watch looks sweet but worth nowhere near $50. WTF were they thinking?
