bamboo keyboard and mouse give your computer wood

Tired of plain old plastic peripherals? Own this computer? Then you might want to check out this keyboard and mouse made out of wood.

Micro Innovations’ wooden keyboard and mouse are made primarily from eco-friendly bamboo, giving them a natural look that you don’t normally see sitting next to high-tech equipment. And while the keys themselves are made from plastic, the main enclosure is all wood.

The 104-key USB keyboard and scroll-wheel mouse work with PCs, Macs and Linux PCs, and are really not that much more expensive than other peripherals.

You can grab a set that includes both the bamboo keyboard and mouse over at Amazon for about $49 (USD).

Wouldn’t it be nice if the keys were also wooden? I am sure though that modders who do wooden cases will love this one (saves a lot of time, no?). The mouse is classy ^^ And 49$ is not expensive, me thinks
Yeah, I’d prefer wooden keys too. I saw these a while back, but they were really expensive:

There’s also these ones:

But they never seemed to find their way outside of Japan.
Oh, wait, here it is….

But the idea of spending more than $500 bucks on a keyboard. Eesh.
Ouch! The love for nature costs big time
But still it’s beautiful. I have faith in modders though. I’m sure someone out there will come up with something as beautiful (even more) but not as pricey
I agree in that I wish the keys were at least a different color. LOVE the mouse, though!
I love the look, it’s like technology meets traditional materials, a juxtaposition that I really enjoy.
Have you seen the wooden USB memory sticks from http://www.flashsticks.co.uk ? They would go well with a wooden keyboard and mouse
