Romain Jerome is known for turning tragedy into luxury, and its latest masterpiece is no different. The Eyjafjallajökull-DNA watch has rocks and ash from the volcano that’s currently throwing fits in Iceland.
Say what you will about the absurdity of the concept, but I think we can all agree that this is one fine-looking timepiece. To up the ante, Romain Jerome will make no more than one of this special watch, and it will come with a certificate of authenticity confirming that it contains Eyjafjallajökull’s vomit.
We don’t know how much it will cost, but we’re sure we can’t afford it anyway. Here’s a little tip to whoever snags the watch: don’t wear it around Europeans – especially in airports.
