Geotrion: 3-Player Gps Game for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

geotrion uses the GPS feature of your iDevice (I’m tired of typing iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad okay?) to figure out your location. The objective of the game is to form a triangle with other geotrion players. The larger the triangle you form, the more points you’ll score. It’s that simple.

Or not. Players also gather “energy dots” and do some other stuff that I don’t understand. The game seems to be doing well in Japan though.

You can buy geotrion at the iTunes store (link opens iTunes) for $3 (USD). Remember, you’ll need at least three people to play the game. See if it works across countries! If it does, all you have to do is link up with the Japanese geotrion players and you’ll rack up a bajillion points.
