Mini Key Keyboard Case for iPhone 4 Shuts Up Blackberry Fanboys
September 6th, 2010
I have a few friends that use Blackberry smartphones, and every time I hear them bitch about the things not working well this or that I tell them to get an iPhone. Typically, they say something about the lack of a keyboard and I have to refrain from punching them in the spleen.
If you have similar issues with your pals, a new case that was shown off at IFA last week can help you shut them up. The case is from a company called Nuu and is called the Mini Key. The iPhone 4 snaps onto one side of the case. When you flip it open, a QWERTY keyboard with real keys is uncovered.
That keyboard connects to the iPhone via Bluetooth and the thing has a Broadcom HID compliant chip inside. Power comes from a built-in rechargeable battery. The Mini Key should land in time for holiday gift-giving for $69 (USD).

The keyboard is ugly and it does not work well, judging from the typos in your demo. Blackberry’s keyboard is simple to use and easy to type on.
why is every second post here about iDevices?
iPhones are for browsing and games(20ish)
Blackberrys is for everything else and has a working phone!!!
By 20ish i’m referring to most iPhone users all seem to be in their early 20′s. Also, I should have said Blackberrys “are” for everything else.
Also, Blackberrys only use 1/3 of the data compared to iPhone or Android, which in turn, lets me go with the cheaper data plan and saves me $$$$$
Dude, I switched from BB to iPhone and I’m loving it .. try it for yourself, own one .. and then you’ll know !!
I do have an iphone. Its about preference. I don’t like typing on touchscreens. Its great for quick access but I can’t type on touchscreen without staring at the keys.
Seems to be a few of these popping up at the moment! Bit expensive for what it is though, this one looks cheaper http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/typetop-bluetooth-mini-keyboard-case-for-iphone-4-p27130.htm
Undecided whether to go for it, anyone any thoughts?
