BRC’s Binary Chairs Look Mighty Uncomfortable

It was destined to be. A while ago, BRC Designs released their awesome Binary Table (which wasn’t really binary at all). Now, they’re releasing a new chair that will match it. I just wonder how comfortable it will be. It looks slightly dangerous to me.

The Binary Chair 02 looks quite interesting, assuming you love computer circuit boards and wires poking you in the behind. Like the Binary Table, it’s made out of salvaged electronic components and is definitely a conversation starter. Their previous chair, the appropriately named Binary Chair 01, seems like something that could fit in your living room. The new one goes better at a dining table.

They are interesting to look at, and to admire since they are more like pieces of art than practical pieces of furniture. Would I have one in my home? Probably not, but they do look pretty amazing.
