Tony Hsu’s Epic Star Wars Art: From the Blu-Ray Box Set to your Screen
October 14th, 2011
If you recently got your Star Wars Blu-ray box set, you’ll probably recognize these awesome digital paintings by Tony Hsu. You can find them inside the booklet and on the discs themselves. They look quite amazing.

California illustrator Tony Hsu says that he was quite pleased with the results and that he got the chance to work on these images, which he created with Corel Painter and Photoshop. I like them all, but Yoda and Chewie’s paintings are truly impressive.
And while Vader isn’t in the collection, and you’d like to see more of the Dark Lord, check out these concept pieces that Tony also made. I definitely need to watch the movies again, post-haste. It’s the perfect way to begin the weekend.

The link to the concepts isn’t working. Even after registering for the behance network…
Hmmm. Looks like they have been removed. I don’t see them on Tony’s page at all anymore:

Maybe Lucasfilm made him take them down?
Hi guys appreciate the feedback! But yes, unfortunately I had to take down the additional concepts for confidentaility purposes. Feel free to reach via behance if you’d like. =) Cheers.
