Harmless Hunter Camera Rifle Shoots But Doesn’t Kill

Lots of people enjoy hunting. Not me. I don’t understand it myself and I think that in this day and age, we should all have grown beyond such immature games as killing animals for sport. Just my opinion. That’s why I like this rifle, er, camera.

The Harmless Hunter KillShot camera is designed to look like a hunting rifle and lets you “hunt” without having to kill anything. It doesn’t shoot bullets. Instead it shoots pictures of the target, with crosshairs even.

There’s no accidental misfiring, no suffering animals, and no other hunters getting shot by accident. It can even be used as a safe training weapon. After all, it’s a simple camera that just looks like a gun. Maybe this will stop hunting in it’s tracks.

The Harmless Hunter is a Kickstarter project that is in need of funding to become a reality. A pledge of at least $150(USD) will land you one – assuming the project gets funded. Just don’t try and take one with you on vacation – it probably won’t make it through airport security.

Not all hunters do it for sport. Some do it to ease their food bills. Venison is damn delicious.

  2. Wheatley says:

Totally agree about killing animals for sport. I love guns, but I could never imagine shooting a living thing with them for fun.

Hello, This can be used by hunters who harvest and hunters that do not like the kill. The digital camera scope is the patented technology, not the replica rifle. This camera scope will be able to attach and detach making it versatile for replica like weapons or lethal hunting rifles, allowing hunters of all types to document their hunt and the actual KillShot whether it is for harvest or for thrill. Another angle will be for Digital Warfare games. With being able to connect to the scope via cell phone, you can form clans and pit battles against each other in urban or woodland environments. The digital picture will be transmitted to all other players showing the KillShot and effectively eliminating that player from the game. This is much safer than games like paintball or airsoft where actual projectiles are fired. You won’t have to wear eye and body safety gear. This has endless possibilites and I am excited to bring this to market. Please help and support this with a pledge. You can pledge at http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/2026168289/harmless-hunter

    Thanks,
