You never know when you might need to sit down. For that, there’s the Emergency Chair by D.E. Sellers.

It’s available in flat-pack pieces of wood that have been laser-cut and perforated in all the right places. Instructions on how to assemble the pieces into a chair are also included in the part which serves as the seat of your DIY piece of furniture.

It even comes with a built-in handle at the top so you can carry it around easily if you need to. The completed chair might not look like the prettiest or most comfortable thing out there, but at least it’s functional. And during emergencies, that’s probably all you’ll need.
