A young Japanese man has come upon a strangely appropriate use for his iPad – and it’s a hell of a lot more fun and practical than the Syte Shirt. He calls his idea the iDish. All you have to do is search for an image of a container for your food – a plate, a saucer, a pan etc – enlarge it to the appropriate size, and then you place your food on the screen, immediately beautifying your meal. Genius!
It’s like a crazy collaboration between Apple and the agency who made the Old Spice commercials: “Hi there, I’m your food. Look at me.” Sadly, your food is not that fresh, but you can’t afford to buy anything else because you spent all your money on an iPad. But look here: place the food on your iPad. Now look at your food. It’s on a wooden block!
Now that’s more appetizing. YOUR iPOD TOUCH IS NOW A SAUCER
The iPad’s looking more and more magical isn’t it? I’m on a hand:
Check out more pics here. And don’t try this at home. Actually go ahead, just once. It’s fun.
