The UK town of Ipswich has an odd name, but that’s not what concerns us here. The town hosts an annual music and arts festival known as Switch Fringe, and this year there is a special addition to the program book.

You probably wouldn’t let your dog drink out of your toilet, but did you know that there are actually people out there who would eat out of a toilet? Not out of a regular toilet, of course, but out of the Moko Moko Mokoletto.

I couldn’t tell you what a subatomic particle is, but I can say this… “That there scienc-y jewelry looks purdy.” This line of 3D printed jewelry really does blend nerdy and beauty together very nicely.

Sometimes, certain foods are just tastier or best eaten using your hands. There’s chicken, for one, and let’s not forget ribs. You can use your fork and knife to maintain poise, but for low-key evenings at home, using your hands is the way to go – especially if you want to get all of the meat.

Thanks to it8bit, I’ve found one of my new favorite artists: Billy Butcher. His collection Come Play My Game, I’ll Test Ya! is an edgy and lively mashup of pop culture, headlined by my favorite pastime: videogames.

I have to admit that the McLaren F1 was a masterpiece in engineering, and it looked pretty awesome too. Though it took McLaren almost a decade before unveiling their production car that was wholly designed and built by the company.

Just when I thought there were no more ways you could play Jenga, along comes another amusing mashup of the brick-stacking game with a classic video game. This time, we have USAOpoly’s Jenga Space Invaders Collectors Edition.

We’ve seen how robotic quadcopters can be programmed to act and complete tasks together. These single propeller vehicles called Distributed Flight Array take that concept to the extreme. On its own, a single one of its aircrafts can barely take off and its flight is unstable.

Carbon monoxide is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. Inhaling enough of the gas can poison you and possibly kill you, but because of its nature, you’ll have no idea when or if you’re being exposed to it.

A camera that can keep a fast moving object in its sight is very useful. It could be adapted to cover sports or wartime events, or for academic and military purposes. That’s why a group of researchers at the University of Tokyo’s Ishikawa Oku Laboratory are working on a camera system that can automatically keep its eyes on the prize.

Man, I haven’t seen a good X-Ray weapon since Mars Attacks. Two upstate New York men have been arrested for attempting to build and sell an X-ray weapon. I guess they weren’t very smart.

Princess Leia must have had too much cake and sent this to me as a gift. Nice! Now shut off that hologram and get in my belly, little droid! This awesome R2-D2 cake actually projects Leia’s holographic message.

Illustrator Josh Mirman takes his word-shaping talents to the Galactic Federation. As he did with Mario and other classic videogame characters, Mirman drew the heroine Samus Aran in his Very Wordy style – her body parts are made of words related to her.

Relax. Take it easy. For some people, those words are easier said than done. I mean, how hard can it be to relax and just bum around? Apparently, it’s hard if you’re stressed out at work or have to broker deals that just aren’t coming together.

Just because they’re dead doesn’t mean they approve of your shopping habits. There’s nothing they can do about what you buy or don’t buy, but they can remind you that there’s more to life than shopping by showing you their dead and zombified faces every time you take that little plastic card out of your wallet..
