The blogger behind Ideas from Everywhere truly lives up to the name of his blog. He wanted to do something special for his 5-year old daughter on her birthday. Something crazy. Mission accomplished.

He says to “Stop buying your kids crap toys. Believe me, memories last longer than any toy.” And he backs that statement up in the craziest way possible, while truly giving his daughter a gift she will never forget.

While she was taking a nap, he built her the craziest crazy straw ever from a whole bunch of individual straws. We’re talking over 150 feet long. When she woke up, the tip was hanging right over her, ready for her to take the most powerful sip she’s ever taken. This guy is an awesome dad. Even if she can’t slurp liquid all the way through it, she will remember it forever.
