NextDesk Velo Combines Two Things You Don’t Like: Work and Exercise

 |  |  |  September 28, 2016

You know how bosses are, they always want more productivity from you for the same pay. I’d wager some of the Scrooges out there would force you to pedal to power your office computer if they could. Thanks to NextDesk, we are one-step closer to that with the Velo.

It is an exercise bicycle that would allow me to combine my two least favorite things: work and exercise. The only way it could be worse is if you couldn’t leave your desk for lunch and all they served was boiled chicken. Velo has a USB port but thankfully, it’s for accessing exercise stats so your boss can’t make you power your workstation by making you pedal faster. At least not yet.

It’s designed to work with the NextDesk standing desk or any standing desk. The NextDesk Velo sells for $799 and will ship next month.
