At some point back in the ’80s I have a vivid memory of going to a local fair and realizing that one of the items you could win in a carny game was a comb that looked like a switchblade. At that age, I rarely combed my hair unless my mom yelled at me a few times, but by god I wanted that switchblade comb. After blowing my entire $5 allotment of cash at that game, I finally won my treasure.
Within the next hour I had pinched my fingers several times and broken my epic comb. This Out-the-Front OTF Comb reminds me of that switchblade comb, only it’s cooler because you can’t pinch your fingers and the comb is made from stainless steel instead of cheap plastic.
I don’t even need to comb my hair these days. I prefer a low maintenance buzz cut, because I loathe hair products. I’d still drop the $39.99 at ThinkGeek because it is awesome and reminds me of the ’80s when the most pressing need I had was to get home in time to watch Punky Brewster.
