The biggest downside to game consoles like the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X is the cost. Modern consoles and their games are very expensive making it hard for lots of gamers to afford. A new report is going around that Microsoft is ready to launch something called Xbox All Access that will put everything you need and want for gaming into one package deal.

According to a report fromĀ Windows Central, Xbox All Access will be a subscription service that will give gamers an Xbox One S, Xbox Live, and Xbox Game Pass for $22 monthly for 24 months of payments. After that 24-month term, the hardware belongs to you. It’s a very similar purchase model to the way you buy a smartphone these days.

If you want the fancier Xbox One X with the same Live and Game Pass subscriptions that will set, you back $35 per month for the same term. It’s not clear if credit checks will be required. The service is expected to be available in the US only to start and via Microsoft retail stores according to reports.
