Mario Kart is a classic game, but it doesn’t have to be confined to your console. You can play it in real life like this group of friends. Watch them play battle mode in real life as they run around shooting Roman candles and trying to pop each other’s balloons.

Super LEGO maker ZaziNombies’ latest creation is based on one of the Mario series’ oldest and most powerful items. His POW Block replica is made of 400 to 500 LEGO pieces, which means it can hurt at least 400 feet after it’s thrown.

Not content with making you make your own game, Nintendo now wants you to make your own wallpaper. Seriously though, the big N’s Super Mario Maker wallpaper editor is an excellent time waster. The editor’s interface is almost the same as the eponymous Wii U hit, which is fortunate because as of this writing, the website appears to be in Japanese only.

This room was made by a guy named Matt, who is a real life Mario Maker. He created it as a gift to a friend, which begs the question: Why don’t I have friends like Matt?

Mario is the man – as long as he is in the Mushroom Kingdom anyway. Nothing can stop him. But what if he is accidentally dropped off in another world, like the Green Hill Zone level from Sonic the Hedgehog?

Now why did I have to watch this video? It just makes me want to watch a show featuring Mario and Game of Thrones. I’m also itching to to play a Mario game using this map of Westeros.

I used to play a lot of Super Mario Bros. back in the day, but it was never one of my favorite games. It was just the game all my friends wanted to play. Mario Kart, on the other hand, I loved and would dominate some bitches.

It’s a me! Steampunk Mario. This awesome steampunk version of our favorite plumber was created by Rodrigo Marckezini. Apparently this Mario and his brother Luigi were servicing pipes back in the late 1800s.

I was checking out this weekend’s Midwest Gaming Classic in Brookfield, WI and amongst all of the pinball machines and classic arcade games, I stumbled onto some really great geeky artwork at One Man Surf Party’s booth.

Two of the most famous characters in the Nintendoverse are Mario and Luigi, the Super Mario Bros. Mario is one of those characters that is completely fixed to his outfit and grooming style. Without the overalls, moustache, and hat, Mario is a different person.

Grandmothers like to do things like playing Bingo, quilting and crocheting. Sometimes they are even hip enough to know who Mario is even if some of them think he’s a real plumber. Sometimes they even make an awesome Mario quilt and give it to you for Christmas.

Kids are weird. They run around screaming at nothing, haphazardly waving sticks at things, and have emotional responses to doorknobs and pavement. They’re like tiny lunatics with poor hand-eye coordination. What’s going on with the way they interact with the world is a product of very active imaginations that haven’t yet been hampered by societal expectations and pragmatism.

Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi are some of the most iconic characters from the glory days of Nintendo gaming. If you love those characters, you will want to get your wallet out and buy this cool Yoshi action figure.
