Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles figures get a ton of alternate and crossover versions, but Playmates’ Halloween offering has to be an instant classic. It’s a mashup of New York weirdest: TMNT and Ghostbusters. The mashup casts Raphael as Winston, Leonardo as Ray, Mike as Pete and of course Donatello as Egon.

Don’t tell Shredder, but it turns out New York’s sewers are just one of the Turtles’ hangouts. They also have a nice three-bedroom apartment in Manhattan, and they let folks stay there while they were out fighting crime.

This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Party Wagon toy gets the party rolling for our mutant turtle friends, but now that pro modder Platinumfungi has shoved a fully functional Nintendo system inside, we can really get this party started.

Last year we checked out a radical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles-themed NES by console modding duo Platinumfungi and Custom NES Guy. The duo’s latest work is another NES casemod based on the heroes in a half shell, but this time it’s an homage to the franchise’s first comic book (and first appearance for that matter), which was in black and white with a dollop of red on the cover.

To raise awareness about unhealthy eating, illustrator Alex Solis started Famous Chunkies. It’s a series of caricatures of superheroes, villains and other popular characters that illustrate what they would be like if they were fat. I’d totally be down with becoming chunky Ryu if it meant I could conjure burgers.

Villain in a buckle, alien power! Let the disembodied villain use you as his exo-suit. Freakshop proprietor Christopher Genovese made this awesome oversized belt buckle featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle’s sworn enemy. I’m not sure how large the buckle is exactly, but it’s probably as large as a child’s head.

The last time we featured console modder Ryan Fitzpatrick aka Platinum Fungi we saw his personal tribute to Mega Man 2. His latest finished project on the other hand is up for grabs. It’s a radical Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles NES.
