Designer Ross Lovegrove has created this amazing system of lighting fixtures for Japan’s Yamagiwa. SystemX lighting units can interconnect to create stunning, yet practical lighting sculptures.

SystemX uses a set of “X” shaped primitives that can be joined, then hung from a ceiling to provide both illumination and drama in any space. The fluorescent system is not only beautiful, it’s bright and energy-efficient.

While the “X” is the primary design element, Yamagiwa sells a variety of special connectors which let you combine them into a virtually infinite array of different patterns.

I am a lighting designer with C. M. Kling & Associates in the US, and I am interested in the System X product. Can you please send literature so that we can better understand the product? It looks very interresting - when will it be available in the US?
