Pentax Outs New Customizable Optio RS1500

I am a modder by nature. I don’t like my stuff to look like anyone else’s. I like my computers to be customized, my car is far from stock, and I’d mod my house if the tools in the homeowners association would allow it. Pentax has a new digital camera that is perfect for those like me that want their gear to be a bit different.

The camera is the second generation Pentax Optio RS1500. The little camera is small at about the size of a credit card (but much thicker) and it has easy to swap lens ring snaps. It ships with a black ring and an orange ring. The cool part is that the skin on the front of the camera is customizable as well. The camera ships with ten different skins, and you can create and share skins on the Pentax RS site too.

Other than being customizable the camera has a 14MP image sensor, 3-inch rear LCD, and a 4x optical zoom lens. The camera will ship this April for $149.95 (USD).
