Planetary String Lights Bring the Solar System to the Party

by Conner Flynn

These days it’s hard to see heavenly bodies in the night sky because of so much light pollution, but our solar system will always be visible with this planetary string light set. Hang the planets on your patio, in your room, wherever you want your own mini solar system.

These string lights are 11-feet long and you get the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and even Pluto. Each two-inch glass bulb is painted to resemble the planet it’s representing, though they aren’t to scale. Sorry space nerds.

You can get the set for $30(USD) over at ThinkGeek. Hang them up and all of the planets will align for you.
