I was surfing around in search of this desktop R2-D2 mini USB can fridge that I recently read about, when I happened upon something much, much cooler than that cooler.
Turns out that this awesome R2-D2 compact refrigerator was apparently made back in 2002 as a promotional prize for an Attack of the Clones contest held at 7-11 Stores in Japan…

Usually when I think of Mario’s primary currency, I think of those little gold coins (and maybe some power-packed ’shrooms). So I was pleasantly surprised to see this arcade machine from Japan in which Mario pays out with real coins…

Fans of the Xbox 360 critter-rearing game, Viva Pinata, rejoice. The cartoony, yet very deep game is headed to the Nintendo DS.
According to the crew over at RARE, the game will be a full port of the Xbox 360 game, not some watered-down minigame like many portable games. It’s even being developed by the same team that made the 360 version…

This little known SEGA Saturn SGX system is for sale on eBay. The Saturn SGX was designed to run SEGA Saturn games in video arcades.
Made back in the late 90’s by a company called SunSeibu, The SGX is basically a modified SEGA Saturn mounted in a heavy-duty metal enclosure with a coin-op mechanism. It also has a special seven-CD changer for easy switching between multiple games…
