Modder Ben Heckendorm’s forums are always packed with portable projects, but this one’s a little different. You’ve got to hook up a separate controller, but that’s hardly anything to complain about when we’re talking about a Sega Dreamcast shoved into the body of a tablet PC.
The Dream Tablet, as creator Werd named the project, runs on batteries and required a Herculean effort to get the hulking Dreamcast compressed into a slimmer, sleeker body. You can watch him put the system through its paces in this video.
Now I just need someone to shrink that giant controller down. You’ve gotta have serious manhands to play that thing comfortably, or at least, hands bigger than mine.
