Designer Ryan McElhinney must be a fan of Katamari Damacy; some of his lovely creations are basically huge mishmashes of toys that form what would mundane or traditional household fixtures, like this grandfather clock.
McElhinney uses recycled toys for his creations, bonded together (with a katamari?) and then coats them in a high gloss polyurethane lacquer. While the design each piece is similar, the overall look of each finished product is unique because they’re made of a different bunch of toys; look at the lamps below for example.
