I could never imagine what it might be like to be blind, but I can only think that it would be incredibly challenging to function in today’s increasingly visual world. Imagine trying to use the flat touch buttons on your microwave without being able to see them.

There’s a new process called EES (Electrical Epidermal System) which allows scientists to apply circuits and electrical components directly to skin, which could be big news for medical sensors, but it could also potentially lead to LED tattoos, integrated video game interfaces and more.

This new Diesel watch comes all in black, with something pretty unique. The case is angled and features plenty of analog hands, as well as a digital display that reminds me of a sonar display.

Yes, that is a giant brain in the back of the car you see here. The car is called Braincar (surprising right) and was designed by an artist names Olaf Mooij. The artist drives the car around during the day and the little black thing on top of the brain is a camera that records his travels.

If you follow space exploration, you probably know about the long running SETI project that uses the Allen Telescope Array to search the skies for radio signals from distant planets. Back in April, the government cut the funding for SETI out and the project went offline for the first time.

If you thought that those Vuzix augmented reality glasses were hot, check out these new ones, which let you take a 3D-capable big screen with you everywhere you go. Yep, 3D isn’t so hot anymore, but I’ve always wanted goggles like these anyhow – especially for long trips.

You’d expect there to be some fancy cameras that can capture high-speed video for slow motion shots, but I never thought that there would be one that could capture a million frames per second.
