Having a hard time finding the right geeky Christmas Tree ornaments this year? Are fancy store-bought ornaments out of your budget this year? Well, Instructables is here to help.

Craftycounterpart has an set of instructions on how to make these amazing little Dalek and TARDIS ornaments. For anyone who is familiar with DIY, these should be easy. They are also very inexpensive to make since you already have most of the supplies around the house, including things like a toilet paper roll, tacks, glue, wire and paint. Though you might not have the spare LED lights for illumination lying around. That said you could always build them without the lights and attach them to your Christmas light strings.

These ornaments will look great on the tree and make Christmas just a bit more geeky. It’s a good project to get the whole family involved in. Make them and hang them together.
