What Happens When You Do a Burnout on an iPhone 6S?

 |  |  |  |  |  November 10, 2015

Have you ever wondered what would happen to your iPhone if you peeled rubber on top of it? I can’t say this has ever occurred to me, but you are about to find out thanks to YouTuber TechRax.

This guy uses his Italian racing bike to see what would happen if you did a burnout on the screen of a brand new iPhone 6S. Can you guess what happened?

I thought for sure the phone would be totally unusable and a smoking mass of melted goo. Nope. It stands up to quite a bit and is only melted on one area of the screen. Afterwards, it is actually still usable, even though a blob of melted rubber obscures a part of the screen. So now you know, just in case your phone ever ends up under your tire.
