The Brick Bag: A Purse Made from LEGO

by Paul Strauss

Over the years, LEGO has released lots of cool and awesome sets of building blocks. But I can say with a high degree of certainty that they’ve never offered a set which let you construct your own purse. For that, you’ll have to turn to Etsy, and the folks from Polish outfit agabag.

Forget trendy Prada or Louis Vuitton bags, ladies; LEGO is where it’s at when it comes to the top of the fashion food chain. These LEGO purses will turn you into a couture runway model overnight.

Each one of agabag’s LEGO purses is handmade, “entirely” from LEGO bricks, though the last time I heard the word “entirely,” it meant 100%. In this case, there is a matching color cotton satin lining, and PVC fabric sides, a zipper and some plastic over the handle.

Okay, so it’s not entirely LEGO, but they still look awesome, and you can go to town attaching your own bricks and minifigs to the sides if you want to change things up.

These purses aren’t cheap though, selling for $580 to $790 (USD) each. For those looking for some LEGO style, but who want to spend a little less, check out agabag’s shop for some smaller purses, clutches, and other accessories.
