I have mixed feelings about the 1986 musical comedy flick Little Shop of Horrors. I liked it because Rick Moranis and his movies were some of my favorite flicks of the era… you hoser. He was a staple of comedy in my youth.
One of the shows I liked back in the ’80s was Silver Spoons with Ricky Schroder. It didn’t have an awesome talking car or a jacked dude that turned green if you made him mad. What it did have was a rich dude and his son living in a mansion and they had their own video game arcade… and Buck Rogers’ girl.
Who says farming has to be boring? The Brick Wall built this cool piece of LEGO Technic farm equipment, adding it to his already impressive collection of machines. He actually created two hay rakes. One is a modern-day farm implement, and one is inspired by the rakes of yesteryear.
Of all the Star Wars characters, the most iconic is probably Darth Vader. Lots of people who grew up on the original films were super mad when the updated version was released and our man Sebastian Shaw had his face replaced with shitty Hayden “#NotMyVader” Christensen.
News about Fallout 76 is everywhere right now. So I have the wasteland on my mind and my mind on the wasteland. That means it is a good time to buy some Fallout merch, and I have a thirst for a yummy bottle of Nuka Cola.
Westworld is such an awesome show, with really deep and layered writing. It gets in your head, you know? The problem is, after that second season finale, we no longer have any idea what the F is going on!
ThinkGeek is knocking out of the park with its San Diego Comic-Con exclusive items this year. Yesterday we talked about the obscurely cool Star Trek mood rock light thingy. Today, we have a Rick and Morty Pickle Rick sleeping bag that you know you want.
If you ever watched the original Star Trek TV series, you might remember an episode called “The Enemy Within.” I’ve never seen that episode, but apparently, it involves Kirk and crew using phasers to superheat rocks until they glow to survive a planet where the temperature drops to 120-degrees below zero.
We here at Technabob don’t just watch James Bond movies to see the spy in action saving the world from villains. It’s all about the gadgets, the women, and the cars. 007 has great taste in all of those areas.
This certainly isn’t the first Millennium Falcon drone we have seen. We talked about one years back, but that one was relatively tiny. This much more impressive Millennium Falcon drone is gigantic and has four rotors inside holes in the spaceship’s body to make it fly.
Hugs are always a nice thing unless they come from some odd, gigantic, hairy, sweaty guy you don’t know. I’d not want a free hug from an Alien facehugger either. It may well be the last hug you ever get unless you find someone to do the deed before your chest bursts.
Did you hear that collectibles company NECA bought the company that makes Chia Pets? Me either. Apparently, it happened back in February. Well, now we know the reason for that purchase. It’s because they want to apply their mad sculpting skills to unleash a bunch of geek-themed Chia Pets on us.
By now everyone has seen the videos of the Strandbeest kinetic sculptures walking the beach. Theo Jansen’s incredible walking creatures moves by using the power of the wind. It’s very impressive. Guess what? Now, you can build your own on a much smaller scale.
We all know that the Dark Side is where you can let your anger flow. We also know they have cookies, and now we now know they also have LEGO. In other words, the Dark Side sounds like a cool place to embrace.
