This Mickey Mouse inspired musical sculpture is more than a bit creepy. It looks like someone cut the heads off of Deadmau5 and Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter and smashed them together. The thing is called the MikeyFon and was commissioned by Disney and built by a Polish firm called PanGenerator.

The Alton Towers adventure park in the UK has whipped up a new roller coaster that looks really cool. The coaster is called Galactica is being built using an existing flying-style coaster previously known as Air.

At this year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), the snazziest TVs boasted HDR and 8K resolution screens. But perhaps the coolest ones at the show won’t ever go on sale. Made by Samsung, these two concept TVs consist of borderless displays that can split into smaller displays.

Intel and Ars Electronica Futurelab recently set a Guinness World Record for most UAVs flown simultaneously. They made 100 drones dance and put on a light show, set to music from a live orchestra. To accomplish Drone 100, Futurelab created their own software to choreograph the drones, control their lights and complement the live music.

I’m looking forward to Deadpool hitting theaters this February, and I will definitely be seeing the flick. It will be my first Deadpool experience since I’ve never read the comic books, but the trailers and teasers definitely have me wanting to go.

Of all the ’80s comedy movies that I watched growing up, Monty Python and the Holy Grail was my favorite. I watched that flick every night for about a month one summer and spent lots of time running around the house speaking in a British accent threatening to fart in people’s general direction.

I like Neil deGrasse Tyson. If nothing else, this great scientific mind has given us some very solid memes over the years. A new video of Tyson talking about fictional spaceships is making the rounds, and if it doesn’t spawn a couple new memes I’ll be very disappointed with the internet.

I’m not sure how I missed the resemblance between Fallout 4’s Paladin Danse and Toy Story’s Buzz Lightyear. Now that this mod has turned up painting his power armor green, white, and giving Danse a purple head covering, I’m surprised I missed it.
