We here at Technabob don’t just watch James Bond movies to see the spy in action saving the world from villains. It’s all about the gadgets, the women, and the cars. 007 has great taste in all of those areas.
Disney animation fans got a special treat today, with the release of a brand new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2. The trailer shows off the latest adventure where Ralph and friends have to travel into the Internet to find a replacement part for Sugar Rush.
Growing up in the ’80s meant each Christmas I asked for “all the Star Wars toys”… and sadly that never happened. Still, I had lots of that Star Wars stuff down to the sheets, comforter, and curtains in my room.
It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago that Robert Downey became Iron Man, but it’s actually been more than 10 years. Downey first played his iconic character in 2008. To celebrate his 10 years on screen, Marvel fan Jennifer Morgan has cobbled together all the Iron Man suit ups she could get her hands on into a single fun video.
Way back in the day, I went straight from high school to college into a medical program that saw me going from a broke high-school student to 19-year-old with an actual career making good money. The very first thing I bought with my very first paycheck was a 3DO game system and a copy of Myst.
Australian beatboxer Tom Thum has put together a medley using nothing but his voice to recreate theme songs from some of the cartoons, TV shows, and movies that anyone from the ’80s will remember.
The video starts with him thanking folks for telling him his throat looks like a vagina, which is weird.
I’m a huge Stranger Things fan, and I am looking forward to the new season in a big way. I really, really, (really, really, really) hope that the second season is able to live up to the standard that the first season set.
I watched a lot of Sesame Street when I was really young. It was like the only thing that the babysitter would let us watch. I liked it ok, but honestly puppets like the ones on the show gave me the willies.
A Galaxy Quest television series has been rumored for some time, but nothing ever came of it. That’s okay, because this Star Trek spoof series looks like it could be even better. Seth MacFarlane and Jon Favreau have stepped up to give us The Orville.
OMG, I so hope this happens! Apparently, Disney is thinking about making a Star Wars inspired resort that would be set on a starship. How awesome would it be to sleep inside a giant starship? The resort would let fans not only sleep and live in a starship for a few days, word is you would get to participate in your own 2-day story set in the Star Wars universe.
I really like the HBO series Westworld. Unlike Game of Thrones, I was able to get into Westworld right away, and loved every episode. I’m not that into the music scene, so I didn’t even realize that the piano in the bar was playing modern music until the episode where Black Hole Sun was being played.
We have seen people make music using some strange instruments over the years. The use of hard drives as MIDI instruments to make music comes to mind. Now we have an orchestra, if you can call a bunch of dudes that bang on obsolete office equipment an orchestra.
Bob’s Burgers is one of my all-time favorite animated programs. The characters, voice acting, and writing are all spot-on, and the show is hilarious. Seriously, if you’ve never watched it, it’s time for a binge.
Now, fans of the show can get their hands on an officially-licensed Bob’s Burgers Monopoly set.
I like sword fights as much as the next guy. I mean, maybe I like them more. I’m not into renaissance fairs or LARPing, but I did take fencing way back in the day. I also rather like movies and video games with sword fights because they look cool.
Well, Gorram! It looks like Fox is open to bringing Firefly back to the small screen. If you are a fan of the franchise, you are probably super excited right now. Fox President of Entertainment David Madden said during a recent Rotten Tomatoes interview that the network is open to more Firefly.
