One Friday night a couple weeks back I was bored and watched This is the End again. I sort of like the movie and find it sort of annoying at the same time. I forgot how much massive Satan penis was in the movie though.
Putting screen protectors on your phone is a pain, and let’s face it, humans are not very good at it. You get those air bubbles and dust under them, and sometimes it’s all crooked. Well, as usual, there’s a robot that can do it better.
Kawasaki’s dual-arm manufacturing robot “duAro” does lots of things, including putting on screen protectors perfectly.
This is something you should not try at home, even though it is tempting. This high-speed spinning toy can reach over 100,000 RPMs once spun up to speed with compressed air, but the what makes it dangerous are the attached razor blades.
Check out this bunny rabbit. He likes his pets. He’s brown with floppy ears and he only wants love. As long as you give him the good stuff, he’s all chill and sweet. Stop petting, and he isn’t having any of that crap.
I love the look on his bunny face, he’s like “The petting stopped, perhaps it will start again.”
The awesome looking NERF Rival Nemesis MXVII-10K isn’t available to the NERF-loving public yet, but there is already a way to crank up the firepower. This mod takes the the 100 round, 70 MPH firepower, and cranks it up to 11.
Want to see things get sliced and diced from the sword’s point of view? Of course you do. That’s what we are here for. This video from YouTubers Sam And Niko shows what happens when you mount a GoPro to the blade of a katana, then watch what it sees as it slices through things.
The video shows the whole process from the initial experimentation to the final shots, so it takes a bit to get into the POV slicing action.
Are you tired of tossing your own salad? Sorry if that sounded too personal. I’m just trying to introduce you to the Useless Salad Robot. It is a 3D-printed machine that tosses, mixes, and warms salads, but maybe not in the most practical way.
Remember when The Backyard Scientist Kevin Kohler sliced through stuff with his rocket knife? Good times. Cool as that was, he knew he could do better, so he has now launched a 1,000° red hot rocket knife at a bunch of stuff just to see what would happen.
He slices a bottle of Coke, cans of Silly String, bread, and a row of lighters, packed with explosive butane.
This is a sight that you don’t see everyday. Bananenbuurman built a LEGO train set, then mounted a camera on the locomotive, and recorded its journey through the back yard and into a long underwater tunnel with plenty of fish.
I don’t know how many times I’ve thought to myself, “This room could really use an exploding Death Star lamp.” Well, now I can make one thanks to Instructables contributor MariaK64. She built this exploding Death Star lamp, modded from an IKEA pendant lamp.
You can follow a tutorial she made here or here to make one of your own.
Look at this awesome creature. This real hedgehog is escaping some sort of explosion, and he’s in legit “no f*cks given” mode. He isn’t even running. He didn’t even blink. Something’s blowing up… whatevs.
Cool hedgehogs don’t look at explosions
I suspect maybe the hedgehog blew up something back there.
At some point or another we have all imagined what the explosion inside of a combustion engine looks like. That’s because engines are fascinating, and you unfortunately can’t see inside of them while this is happening.
