Artis Benedetto Bufalino likes to make some pretty wild things out of vehicles. He’s transformed a construction digger into an aquarium, a Ford Mondeo into a pizza oven, a cement mixer into a disco ball, and both a car and a camper into swimming pools.

Remember that monster bus that towers over traffic and swallows cars whole? Apparently, China actually went and built the thing. For years, the country has been talking about building this beast and it is now a reality.

Imagine if buses could do push-ups. Exercise equals good health, so cities would save a fortune on maintenance, right? Plus, we, as spectators would get to watch buff buses working out, which would be quite frankly awesome.

In 2011, Volkswagen had the best Super Bowl commercial, featuring a diminutive Darth Vader. This year’s commercial was fun, but it didn’t have the Star Wars tie-in as its main theme. Maybe this what Volkswagen should have done for their 2012 Superbowl commercial instead.

Whenever I take the bus or MRT (sort of like the Filipino equivalent of the subways in the United States), I find myself wishing I had something more to do than just hold on to the safety handles.

All the cars lining up the streets don’t make for a very pretty sight. The recent wave of erratic weather has also convinced me to start living a greener and more eco-friendly life, but you can’t really take your bike or electric car with you while you’re traveling – or can you?
