As a kid, I’d always see my grandma rocking one of her grandkids to sleep in her lap on her rocking chair. (Yes, I was one of those grandkids, although obviously I wouldn’t be able to see myself if I’m the one being rocked.) 

Wearing your tablet around your neck might seem a bit silly, but I can see it being useful in a few different situations. Perhaps if you work in the field, a warehouse or in a hospital, it would be handy to have your tablet right there in front of you.

There’s a lot of anticipation and preparation needed when there’s a baby on the way, not just for the expecting couple, but for the entire family. When my sister was expecting her first baby (the first in our family of five), my parents wanted to do something extra special.

Don’t you ever wonder how come most children’s nursery rhymes end in some sort of tragedy? There was Jack who broke his crown, and Humpty Dumpty who fell apart because he had a great fall. Then there was the baby who was rocking-a-bye in the treetop, when the wind blows and drops both baby and cradle.

There are a few desktop handsets for your iPhone, but this one is quite minimal, which makes it more attractive than some of the others out there. I guess something like this makes sense if you’re using the iPhone as your main home phone.

I’m not a particularly huge Star Trek fan–not the dressing-up kind, just the appreciating, occasionally-watching kind–but even I have to say that this is probably the most awesome crib in the history of cribs. If Cribs was about cribs instead of cribs, this would have its own show, even though it’s a cradle.

I recently reported on Joytech’s rechargeable controller dock for the Wii. Now, Nyko is getting into the game with charging cradles for both the Wii and the Playstation 3’s SIXAXIS controllers. Filling a void in both Nintendo’s and Sony’s product lines, the docks allow you to neatly recharge your controllers without unsightly cables running between the controllers and the consoles.
