It’s been more than a year since Japanese design duo fift came up with the Wipe Shirt, a long sleeved shirt with a microfiber patch for cleaning gadgets and glasses. At that time, the first iPad had just been released, and since then, many more tablets, smartphones and other gadgets have been released.
There are all sorts of uses for fingerprint scanners in the tech world. You can use them to log into notebooks and smartphones without having to type a password. You can also use a fingerprint scanner to log into corporate networks.
We often use what we’re wearing as an improvised rag to clean our gadgets or glasses. Design duo fift wanted to put a stop to this silliness, so they and came up with the Wipe Shirt, a dress shirt with a built-in microfiber cloth on one of its cuffs or shirt tails.
