Apple has admitted to shipping some 5.5G iPods infected with a Windows virus called “RavMonE.exe.” Apparently the virus infected a PC at an iPod manufacturer’s facility and subsequently found its way onto some of Apple’s players.
Belkin’s forthcoming SportCommand seeks to provide a solution for remotely control your iPod in inclement weather or while performing outdoor activites.
The remote provides wireless control of key iPod navigation including pause/play, next/previous track and volume.

The Apple iTunes music store is offline this morning, presumably as they get ready to go live with a new store featuring full movie downloads.
It’s likely that the store will primarily feature movies only from Disney (including Walt Disney Pictures, Miramax, Pixar and Touchstone,) with some question about what studios will come on board in future.

Razer Pro|Solutions has announced the upcoming release of the Pro|Type line of multimedia keyboards which incorporate built-in docks for either Apple iPod or Microsoft Zune media players.
The keyboards will also include 10 programmable hotkeys for macros (32k of onboard memory for macros), Media Center control keys, Line-level out for audio peripherals and two built-in USB ports.
