Because you can’t even get married today without getting superheroes involved, ring maker Manly Bands has teamed up with DC Comics to produce The DC Collection, a line of superhero-themed wedding bands. Currently available rings include The Wonder Woman, The Superman, The Bruce Wayne, The Joker, The Flash, and The Aquaman.

Growing up, one of my favorite movies was Superman The Movie. Christopher Reeve will always be Superman to me, just as Roger Moore will always be 007. I’ve tried to watch the flick when it came on TV a few times, but I just can’t stand the blurry and crappy picture the movie has compared to films of today.

Look at this thing. It may be the cutest Superman and Batman figure ever made. We all know Batman is a grump, which is odd considering he is a billionaire by day and a ninja crimefighter by night.

Prime 1 Studio has unleashed an epic statue of the only living being so far to have killed comic books’ greatest superhero: Doomsday. The massive statue stands over 38″ tall and comes with Superman’s tattered cape, which is based on Dan Jurgens’ fantastic cover in the climactic issue of the Death of Superman story arc.

It looks like Build-A-Bear is getting in on the Batman v Superman craze. The custom toy show is releasing new Superman and Batman bears, costumes, and even a bear-sized plush Batmobile. These are great for cubs and adults.

If you are the slobby sort who can’t seem to keep your food off your clothes, you might want to use a napkin. The Three Stooges always crammed napkins into their shirt collars to keep food off.

Remember Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots? That was a fun fighting game. We played it, our parents played it in their day, and now the kids of today have a new version with Batman and Superman duking it out.

SDCC has a ton of exclusives this year and the latest one from LEGO has been revealed. This one is a unique collectible that collectors will go crazy for. The LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Action Comics #1 Superman set, which recreates the Superman issue that started it all.

I’m still not sure how I feel about a movie that has Superman and Batman fighting each other. They are both superheroes and I don’t think that Batman has much of a chance against Superman in a fight – after all, he’s just a man, and Superman is well, not.

Last month I mentioned a DC Bombshells statue of Hawkgirl. The statue is in the style of ’40s pinup art and was designed by Ant Lucia and sculpted by Tim Miller. If you liked that statue, even though it was of a more obscure super heroine, you will love this one from the same guys.

A lot of people will immediately think of Jason Momoa as Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones. I always think of him as Ronon Dex from Stargate Atlantis. However you think of him, he always plays a good badass on screen.

I like Superman; he is probably my favorite superhero. After all he can fly, bullets bounce off him, he has heat rays shooting form his eyes, and can see through clothing. That last may be the best superpower 12 year-old-me could have hoped for.

When most people need to buy a pen,  they spend a few dollars for a 10 pack of Bic ball-points. Some style-conscious rich people like to buy pens from companies like Montegrappa, which charges a few hundred bucks for a single pen.

DC Comics has been releasing monthly themed variant covers for a while now. We saw their LEGO variant covers back in August. For March 2015, DC reached out to the big screen for inspiration – and a bit of tongue-in-cheek humor.

I can recall thinking when my son was first born that raising kids was a snap. He slept a lot and all I really needed to do was give him a bottle, change his diaper, and try to not get peed on while doing it.

A comic book has sold at auction and has set a record for the most ever paid for a comic. The comic in question is the debut of Superman in Action Comics No. 1 from 1938.
